A dream proposal in the magical Masseria Lilei - Lecce
There are love stories that seem straight out of a movie, and that of Xavier and Jessie is the perfect example. As a wedding photographer I have the privilege of witnessing unrepeatable moments, but that summer evening at Masseria Lilei, in the heart of the Lecce countryside, I had the honour of capturing one of the most romantic wedding proposals ever.
Xavier had planned every detail carefully, wanting to surprise Jessie in a place that combined elegance, nature and intimacy. Masseria Lilei, with its unspoilt nature, Lecce stone walls and authentic Apulian atmosphere, was the perfect setting.
As the sun slowly descended over the horizon, tinging the sky with warm, golden hues, Xavier took Jessie’s hand before sitting down to dinner and, in a trembling voice but full of love, knelt beside the table.

She paused, surprised. The silence became thick with emotion, then...
…the smile, the shining eyes, the intertwining hands, the whispered “yes”. Such an intimate and delicate moment that I chose to tell with discretion, letting them, with their spontaneity, guide the photo shoot. Like stolen shots, never intrusive, but real.
After the proposal, the evening continued with a candlelight dinner, just for the two of them. No forced direction, just the pure beauty of two people who chose each other, surrounded by the magic of Apulia.
