Wedding proposal photoshoot in Puglia

There are love stories that seem straight out of a movie, and Xavier and Jessie’s is the perfect example. As a wedding photographer, I have the privilege of witnessing once-in-a-lifetime moments, but that summer evening at Masseria Lilei, in the heart of the Lecce countryside, I had the honor of capturing a proposal so romantic that it truly moved me.

Xavier had planned every detail carefully, wanting to surprise Jessie in a place that combined elegance, nature, and intimacy. Masseria Lilei, with its untouched nature and the authentic atmosphere of Puglia, was the perfect setting.

As the sun slowly set on the horizon, painting the sky with warm golden hues, Xavier took Jessie’s hand before sitting down to dinner, and with a trembling but love-filled voice, he knelt beside the table.

…her smile, her shining eyes, their intertwined hands, her whispered “yes”. Such an intimate and delicate moment that I chose to photograph with discretion. I let them guide the photoshoot with their spontaneity. Like stolen shots, never intrusive, but real.

After the proposal, the evening continued with a candlelit dinner, just for the two of them. No forced direction, just the pure beauty of two people who chose each other, surrounded by the magic of Apulia.
